DSCC 98B and OPDEC District A

We are living the consequences of an election in which the State Democratic party didn’t put up a fight for us. I’ve lived in New Orleans my whole life, and I know we deserve better. As an attorney, a mentor, and a volunteer and board member at a range of local organizations focused on our youth, I know firsthand how bright Louisiana’s future can be. I believe in our ability to identify new talent, excite our base and buid a real Democratic party in Louisiana. Let‘s get to work!

I’ve decided to run for the State (DSCC) and Parish (OPDEC) Democratic committees because I’m tired. Tired by the lack of fight, the lack of options, and the overall lack of effort made in the primary for Governor that handed the state AND statehouse to Republicans. Tired of having to support a party that feels like it’s not supporting the policies and people who matter most. Tired of business as usual at the expense of our future. As a member of those committees, I will only be one voice. But mine will be a voice you can count on to pursue candidates and policies that center those most impacted by poverty, and that aim to move Louisiana into the 21st century. For Louisiana Democrats, it’s time for a change in strategy, and that can only happen with a change in leadership. Vote for me. Vote for change.
